Lucas is a lighting and video artist based in New York City. He has designed over 300 operas, plays, dances, and performance pieces across the US and internationally. Installations and video art has shown at galleries and festivals in New York, Nevada, & California. He has been a guest artist at Williams College, USF and UC Berkeley. Writing on design aesthetics and performance has been featured in The Brooklyn Rail, Parabasis Blog, On Stage Lighting, InDance Magazine, PLSN, and Stage Directions Magazine. His work ranges from site specific explorations to traditional theatrical and gallery settings. MFA from New York University.
