Lucas is a Berlin based Lighting & Video artist working in Opera and Dance.

Opera: Opera Colorado, San Diego Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Palm Beach Opera, West Edge Opera, Opera Santa Barbara, West Bay Opera, First Look Sonoma, Berkeley Opera, Yale Arts and Ideas Festival, the Crucible, and more. Collaborators include Mark Streshinsky, Jose-Maria Condemi, Ragnar Conde, Elkhanah Pulitzer, Roy Rallo, Keturah Stickann, David Gately, and others.

Numerous dance collaborations across the US and Europe including four years as lighting designer for the Youth America Grand Prix gala and final competition at the State Theater at Lincoln Center.

Writing on design aesthetics and performance has been featured in The Brooklyn Rail, Parabasis Blog, On Stage Lighting, PLSN, and Stage Directions Magazine.
